The successful candidate will be an integral member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team for the ES Canada business and is a key resource for the CFO, CEO and Business Operation leaders, providing sound financial expertise and leadership.
Provide finance support and leadership to the business, partnering with the operational team to drive operating performance, delivering on business initiatives, growth and profitability while ensuring compliance to controllership
Lead and develop the annual operating plan, linking the strategy of the business to the operational units to its annual operating plan.
Be able to re-engineer and deploy the process of translation of strategic targets into comprehensive well-vetted annual operating budgets
Build a set of analytical resources and meaningful actionable reports to enhance decision-making support
Analyze the financial Plan to identify risks and opportunities. Proactively recommend alternative courses of action
Drive Simplification and process improvements to the financial reporting and financial management process
Finance or Accounting Degree and/or Accounting designation is preferred
4-5 years experience working in an analytical or consulting role in Financial Planning
Proven analytical skills, able to clearly link financial results / data to operational performance drivers
Planning skills developed through consistent career progression
Ability to think strategically and systematically with strong critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills, be able to identify key issues and recommend clearly defined solutions and / or response
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work under tight timelines while ensuring focusing on deadlines and key deliverables.
Self starter, Self motivated, creative, and results-oriented, have the ability to be effective in a hands-on role
Strong communication skills, ability to communicate operational issues impacting performance of the business, including demonstrated ability to establish and nurture relationships
Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Advanced knowledge of Hyperion and Oracle
