Overview:
Join our team as a Livestock Driver, where you’ll play a key role in transporting poultry. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and possesses excellent interpersonal skills. This position starts at $32.50/hour with increased hourly rate and guaranteed weekly minimum earnings following a three-month probationary period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a large truck and trailer, transporting poultry to various locations.
- Carry and handle dollies with birds for loading and unloading.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and road safety regulations.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with team members to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications:
- Valid AZ License with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience hauling 53' trailers.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Availability to work night shifts and a flexible schedule (Sunday to Friday).
- Strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a physically demanding role.
Physical Demands:
This job requires handling dollies and other equipment, which involves repetitive lifting and moving of loads. The role also demands extended periods of driving and working in various weather conditions. The schedule involves variable hours throughout the week, and flexibility is key.
