Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Responsibilities
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Prepare and pour drinks as per standard recipes, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or special requests
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations effectively through excellent time management skills
- Follow all food safety regulations and health department guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to serve multiple tables or bar patrons simultaneously
- Hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating a commitment to guest satisfaction
- Must be at least 18 years old with the ability to serve alcohol responsibly if applicable
