Who we are looking for
We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in Edmonton. This vital role based in our clinic will support patient interactions, coordinate appointments, and ensure a seamless healthcare experience for our specialized clientele. Your contribution will help uphold our mission of delivering exceptional health services.
What you do
- Greet and assist patients with professionalism and empathy.
- Manage patient appointments and scheduling efficiently.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records in compliance with privacy standards.
- Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers.
- Ensure the clinic operates smoothly by supporting administrative tasks.
- Provide information about treatments and services offered.
- Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate patient care processes.
Who you are
- 3 -5 yrs of proven experience in a medical office setting, with strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Education in healthcare an asset
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
- Experience with direct billing
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Previous experience in dental or healthcare offices is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: Depending on experience
