Are you a passionate Speech Language Pathologist driven to improve patients’ quality of life? Pair It with Speech is seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing expert communication therapy to diverse pediatric and adult populations here at our clinic located in Woodbridge, Vaughan. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with people of all ages, though experience working with children is an asset, experience supporting individuals with autism and related developmental challenges is preferred. Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities through comprehensive evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and recovery goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to pediatric and adult patients in hospital, acute care, or outpatient settings.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy techniques accordingly to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, case managers, and family members to coordinate care.
- Document patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication skills and swallowing safety.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, current therapy practices, and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current registration and licensure with CASLPO (College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario) is required. Candidates without CASLPO licensure will not be considered.
- Experience working with pediatric populations and individuals with autism or related developmental challenges is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of relevant medical and developmental terminology.
- Proven ability in case management and client care coordination.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage caseloads efficiently and submit accurate SOAP notes and documentation on time.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: $70.00-$120.00 per hour
