Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in electrical systems within industrial and construction environments. The Apprentice Electrician will work under the supervision of licensed electricians to develop skills in wiring, troubleshooting, and electrical installation. This role is ideal for individuals interested in building a career in electrical work, with opportunities for professional growth and skill development.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.
- Learn to interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform various electrical tasks.
- Support the installation of low voltage wiring and components in industrial or construction settings.
- Help with reading and understanding electrical schematics and blueprints for project execution.
- Participate in the setup and cleanup of work sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Gain experience in working with construction teams on-site to complete electrical projects efficiently.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge or interest in electrical systems, construction, or related fields.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprint reading is a plus.
- Prior experience with industrial electrician work or electrical experience is desirable but not required.
- Ability to work safely around electrical equipment and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills on the job.
- Ability to work in a construction environment that may involve physical activity, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to follow instructions from licensed electricians.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
