We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Morning Pastry Cook to join our team at The Praguery Café. If you love working early mornings and have a knack for creating delicious pastries, we’d love to meet you!
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake fresh pastries daily, including danish, cream puffs, and chimney cakes.
- Expertly pipe and fill cream puffs with consistency and perfection, ensuring top-notch presentation.
- Organize and fill the display case with freshly prepared products, maintaining an inviting and appetizing presentation.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion and knowledge for food and pastries
- Culinary school attendance is preferable, but not mandatory
- Prior experience as a pastry cook of minimal 1-2 years
- Must be meticulously clean and aware of all food standards (Food Safe)
Position Details:
- Shift: 6:30 AM - 1:00 PM
- Pay: $18 - $20/hour + tips*
- Note: Pay is commensurate with experience and negotiable for the right candidates!

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Baking: 1 year (preferred)
- Baking in Commercial Kitchen: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Safety Certification (preferred)
Work Location: In person
