This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client officeat a minimum 4 days per week - subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Maintain overall project oversight, governance, and delivery management across multiple initiatives.
- Ensure project compliance with PMO standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks while aligning with organizational strategic objectives and program KPIs.
- Drive projects through the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, delivery, and closure.
• • Facilitate risk management activities by identifying, tracking, and escalating risks, issues, dependencies, and impediments to appropriate stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with IT development teams and business functions to support successful functional and technical delivery.
- Lead project requirements gathering, documentation, communication, and ongoing maintenance activities.
- Conduct stakeholder analysis, resource planning, and effort estimation to support project planning and execution.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including validation of new software releases within isolated system simulation environments.
- Analyze current processes and systems to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for operational and process improvements.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings with stakeholders, business users, and project teams to provide project updates, status reporting, and action tracking.
- Monitor project timelines, deliverables, budgets, and resource utilization to ensure successful delivery within scope and schedule.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, governance artefacts, and executive presentations.
- Support change management, communication planning, and continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery processes.
- Work within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies based on business and project requirements.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- University degree and/or equivalent practical work experience in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Project Management, including project planning, execution, tracking, and delivery across complex environments.
- Strong experience in project governance across multiple levels, including operational, program, and executive-level reporting.
- Proven ability in project status reporting, milestone tracking, and end-to-end delivery management.
- Strong stakeholder management experience across both business and IT teams, including senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Experience managing project financials, budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking.
- Excellent business communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and manage executive-level conversations.
- Demonstrated ability to drive project delivery in complex, matrixed organizational structures and cross-functional teams.
Strong risk, issue, dependency, and escalation management skills.
Ability to ensure accountability and achieve delivery outcomes under tight timelines and evolving priorities.
- Strong leadership presence with an executive mindset and decision-making capability.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
