Barrel Wash Associate / Forklift Operator
Location: Stayner, ON
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Training Schedule (First 2 Weeks)
Monday – Thursday
6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
After successfully completing approximately 2 weeks of training, employees will transition to the regular weekend schedule.
Shift: Weekend Shift (After Training) | Friday – Sunday | 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Job Responsibilities
- Clean and wash industrial barrels using approved cleaning procedures.
- Safely handle cleaning chemicals while following all health and safety protocols.
- Operate a counterbalance forklift to move totes, drums, barrels, and other materials throughout the facility.
- Transport raw materials and finished products within the warehouse and production areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company policies, health & safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
Work Environment
- Wet industrial manufacturing environment.
- Regular handling of cleaning chemicals (PPE provided).
- Physically demanding role involving lifting, moving, and transporting materials.
- Fast-paced manufacturing facility.
Requirements
- Previous counterbalance forklift experience is required.
- Valid forklift certification is an asset.
- Comfortable working in a wet industrial environment.
- Able to safely handle cleaning chemicals.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving materials throughout the shift.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety.
- Manufacturing or warehouse experience is an asset.
Pay: $21.00 per hour
