Alliance Store Fixtures Inc. is a custom retail fixtures manufacturer founded in 2001. We specialize in high-end brand millwork fabrication for the watch and jewelry industry. We are currently looking for a qualified candidate who is willing to join our shipping / receiving department.
Job Duties:
- Assist in loading, unloading, and moving millwork and materials by hand and/or equipment.
- Skidding, wrapping, corner guarding and crating products and millwork
- Assisting in taking inventory and weighing/checking received raw materials such as glass panels
- Participate in housekeeping duties such as clearing garbage, sweeping shop floor and organizing materials
Requirements:
- Possess a valid driver's license
- A minimum secondary school education
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to manage and move equipment and materials in excess of 40 pounds
- Practice safe lifting and handling techniques
- Forklift operation is an asset
Working Conditions:
- Repetitive tasks within a fast paced environment
- Overtime as required
