HNR Properties provides both commercial and residential spaces in Downtown Toronto that are safe, dependable, well-designed, and tailored to the needs of our tenants. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our commercial and residential properties. The ideal candidate will ensure that all facilities are well-maintained, comply with safety regulations, and meet the needs of our tenants and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall maintenance and operations of assigned properties, ensuring high standards of safety, and functionality.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans, budgets, and schedules for both commercial and residential properties.
- Coordinate and supervise all maintenance staff and external contractors to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Address tenant concerns and maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of property operations, maintenance activities, and financial reports.
- Collaborate with the property management team to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
- Stay current with industry trends and regulations affecting property management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities management, ideally in both commercial and residential settings.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with tenants, staff, and contractors.
- Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and their maintenance, working with Enwave and Steam heating systems requirements is a plus.
