We are excited to announce the opening of our new Japanese BBQ restaurant and are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated team members to join us as Servers, Bussers, Hosts, or Supervisors. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and manage reservations as a Host or Hostess.
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
- Assist with food handling, preparation, and presentation to ensure quality service.
- Clear tables promptly and reset for new guests as a Busser.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage cashiering duties including cash handling and basic math calculations at checkout stations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining and service areas following health regulations.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Support team members and supervise operations when in a supervisory role, ensuring smooth restaurant flow.
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and responsibilities efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation protocols diligently.
- Basic math skills for cashiering and transaction management.
- Experience in food handling, food safety, or kitchen operations is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work during peak hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays if needed.
