GOGU Foods is a frozen food manufacturer located in Coquitlam, BC.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Food Production Team Lead who is interested in growing with our company long-term.
This is a hands-on working position. The Team Lead will work directly on the production floor alongside other team members while helping to organize the workflow, provide instructions, and keep production running efficiently. This is not an office-based supervisory role—the successful candidate will be actively involved in daily food preparation, assembly, packaging, cleaning, and shipping preparation.

- Full-Time Food Production Team Lead
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly on the production line alongside team members
- Participate in food preparation, assembly, packaging, labeling, and shipping preparation
- Lead by example and help maintain an efficient production pace
- Assign daily tasks and provide clear instructions to team members
- Support and train new and existing employees
- Monitor production flow and help the team meet daily production targets
- Check product quality, weight, packaging, and labeling
- Ensure food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures are followed
- Complete basic production and food-safety records accurately
- Assist with cleaning and sanitation before, during, and after production
- Report production, quality, staffing, or equipment issues to the Production Manager
Working Conditions
- Location: 91 Golden Drive, Coquitlam, BC
- Must be comfortable regularly entering and working in freezer environments
- Must be comfortable standing for extended periods
- Must be able to perform repetitive production tasks in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or food production
- Comfortable performing hands-on production work throughout the shift
- Able to lead, support, and communicate clearly with team members
- Quick learner with a positive and professional attitude
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good hand speed and ability to maintain an efficient production pace
- Able to lift and carry up to 15 kg (33 lbs)
- Interested in long-term employment and growth with the company
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Team Lead, Lead Hand, or senior production worker
- Experience working under a HACCP-based or other food-safety program
- Experience completing production, quality-control, or food-safety documentation
