Role Summary
The Workforce Pathways for Women in Seniors Healthcare (WP4W) project brings together key stakeholders to co-design a comprehensive, end-to-end workforce development solution. The initiative aims to upskill and support immigrant and racialized women in securing sustainable careers within the seniors’ healthcare sector, while addressing critical labour market needs.
Reporting to the Manager, Career & Newcomer Services, the Project Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and day-to-day coordination of the program. This includes leading program operations, supervising staff, and overseeing service delivery to achieve project targets and outcomes.
The Coordinator will plan, implement, and evaluate program strategies, ensuring the availability of resources, tools, and information required for effective delivery. This role also serves as the primary liaison with employer and industry partners and contributes to departmental planning as part of the Achēv supervisory team.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate client intake, registration, and employment outcomes for all cohorts, including cohort curriculum scheduling with the Ontario Retirement Communities Association (ORCA), the Ontario Long Term Care Association (OLTCA), and employer partners.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design program curriculum, coordinate training delivery, and facilitate participant placements with industry partners, including post-employment supports.
- Responsible for outreach, lead follow-up, and client data management in OneClient CRM
- Maintain accurate client and cohort data in OneClient CRM and the funder portal (CaMS), ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
- Coordinate team workflows and priorities, ensuring workloads are balanced and deadlines are met. Monitor program performance, analyze data, and implement corrective actions to ensure successful outcomes.
Oversee administrative functions, including payroll submissions and staff scheduling. Provide guidance and training to staff to support participant intake, onboarding, check-ins, and post-cohort follow-ups in coordination with delivery partners to enable successful client course completion and provision of wrap-around supports where possible. Provide support to Employer Liaisons to connect with employers to create competitive job opportunities for program participants Maintain effective communication with partners, employers, and community organizations to support successful cohort delivery. Coordinate client cohort data entry in OneClient CRM and regularly review to ensure accuracy when reporting to college partners and the funder. Support the Program Manager in completing funder reports accurately, updating stakeholders, and representing WP4W at meetings or industry events when required. Supervise, coach, and support project staff, including performance management, training, and professional development. Champion Achēv’s organizational initiatives, policies, and practices. Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service integration and support program development.
- Hybrid role; minimum two in-office days per week.
Travel within the GTA to support program delivery and staff supervision. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- University degree or college diploma in a relevant field.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in program coordination, workforce development, or training-related roles.
- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by newcomers, particularly racialized women, in the labor market.
- A team player and knowledge of employment services and community resources.
- Experience in outreach, marketing, partnership development, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and database systems.
- Experience with budgeting, financial management, and accountability.
- Knowledge of government funding requirements and reporting processes.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
Salary rate: $69,939.00
