Our Property Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks across multiple disciplines, including hot tub/pool maintenance, lawn care, landscaping, janitorial services, basic carpentry, drywall, and painting. This role ensures properties are well-maintained, functional, and aesthetically pleasing, contributing directly to client satisfaction and property value.
Primary Responsibilities:
General Maintenance & Repairs:
- Perform basic carpentry repairs (e.g., minor framing, trim, door adjustments).
- Execute basic drywall repairs (e.g., patching, sanding).
- Conduct painting tasks (e.g., touch-ups, small area painting).
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor maintenance issues across various property systems.
Hot Tub & Pool Maintenance:
- Perform routine hot tub and pool cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment checks.
- Diagnose and report issues with hot tub and pool systems.
- Ensure water quality and safety standards are met.
Lawn Care & Landscaping:
- Perform lawn mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing.
- Conduct basic landscaping tasks such as weeding, mulching, and planting.
- Maintain garden beds and outdoor common areas.
Janitorial Services:
- Perform general cleaning duties for various property types (e.g., sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting).
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling.
Site Management & Safety:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Accurately track and report time, materials used, and project progress.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with managers and clients regarding work status and any issues.
Requirements
Experience
- Demonstrated skills in at least three of the following areas: hot tub/pool maintenance, lawn care/landscaping, janitorial services, carpentry, drywall, or painting.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools relevant to property maintenance.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., pool operator, specific trades) are a strong asset.
