We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Shop Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our production floor. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and demonstrate proficiency in using various hand and power tools. This role requires effective leadership skills to manage a team while ensuring to follow the process.

Duties
- Supervise shop staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
- Collaborate with management to ensure daily operational goals are met.
- Monitor and support shop staff to ensure adherence to established procedures.
- Conduct quality inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Oversee the use of machinery including CNC milling machines
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of machines and tools, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
- Manage inventory of tools and equipment, ensuring all hand tools and power tools are maintained in good working condition.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed, ensuring quality control is upheld.
- Train new employees on shop procedures, safety protocols, and proper use of equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Qualifications

- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with strong mechanical knowledge.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools.

- Familiarity with quality inspection processes and techniques.
- Proficiency in operating cranes, forklifts, CNC machinery (Optional)
- Experience with calipers and other measuring tools is preferred.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
