Reporting to the Chief Building Officer and the Planner, 50% of the time, with minimal supervision, the incumbent is responsible for providing excellent customer service to citizens by performing a variety of administrative tasks in support of the Town’s building and planning department.
Requirements

High school diploma with appropriate option

Five (5) years of experience or more in a similar function, in an area related to construction and planning. Any combination of academic training and relevant experience will be considered;

Excellent knowledge of French and English (written, reading, and spoken). Work environment is French;

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities;

Strong proficiency in drafting and preparing letters, reports, and various documents;

Good knowledge of public administration;

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and excellent computer skills, along with the ability to learn and adapt to new platforms and software;

Attention to detail;

Excellent ability to work as part of a team;

Discretion, maturity, flexibility, and good judgment;
SALARY
This permanent full-time position (35 hr/wk) has a weekly salary from $1 046.50$ to $1 135.49 as per the collective agreement presently in effect.
