Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Prep/dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong attention to cleanliness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Previous restaurant or hotel experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within our organization.
Duties
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware
- Assist with food handling and food preparation tasks as needed
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies in compliance with safety standards
- Support the team during busy service hours by managing dishwashing and basic kitchen duties
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff
- Help with general cleaning tasks to uphold sanitation standards throughout the facility
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Basic understanding of hospitality operations, including serving and hotel experience is advantageous
- Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations and food service standards
