Tutor Prime is growing rapidly and is looking for enthusiastic tutors who enjoy working with elementary and junior high students. We are seeking caring, dependable educators who can build strong academic foundations while making learning enjoyable and engaging.
This role is ideal for Education students, recent graduates, classroom teachers and experienced tutors looking for flexible part-time work.
About the Role
Provide one-on-one tutoring in one or more of the following areas:
- Elementary Mathematics
- Junior High Mathematics
- English Language Arts
- Reading
- Writing
- Science
- Social Studies
- French Immersion
- Homework Support
- Organization & Study Skills
- ESL Support
Tutors able to support senior high students in Mathematics, English, Science, French Language Arts or Social Studies are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Support students from Kindergarten through Grade 9
- Reinforce classroom learning
- Build study habits and organizational skills
- Help students complete assignments and prepare for tests
- Communicate regularly with families and Tutor Prime
Pay: $23.00-$35.00 per hour
