Dr. Vetamin Primary, Referral & Emergency Veterinary Hospital is seeking a passionate and motivated Emergency / ICU Veterinary Technician to join our growing team.
We are an independently owned advanced veterinary hospital focused on emergency medicine, urgent care, hospitalization, advanced diagnostics, and collaborative patient care. Our hospital provides a fast-paced environment where technicians are actively involved in critical case management, anesthesia monitoring, advanced procedures, and inpatient care.
This is an excellent opportunity for RVTs who want to expand their emergency and critical care skills while working alongside a supportive medical team in a modern referral-style environment.
Position Overview
The Emergency / ICU Veterinary Technician will assist in the management of hospitalized and emergency patients, support advanced diagnostics and procedures, and help maintain high standards of patient care and client communication.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring ICU and hospitalized patients
- Emergency triage and patient stabilization
- IV catheter placement and fluid therapy management
- Anesthesia monitoring and recovery support
- Blood collection, laboratory diagnostics, and sample preparation
- Assisting with emergency and advanced surgical procedures
- Radiography and diagnostic imaging support
- Administering medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Client communication and discharge instructions
- Supporting overnight and emergency workflows when scheduled
Qualifications
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) preferred
- New graduates with strong interest in ECC are encouraged to apply
- Previous emergency or ICU experience is considered a strong asset
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility for evening, weekend, and holiday scheduling

- Full-time and part-time positions available
