Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shift Supervisor to lead our retail team and ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a proven track record in retail management and team supervision. Duties
- Oversee daily store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards
- Supervise and motivate team members to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service
- Manage merchandising, pricing strategies, and inventory levels to optimize sales performance
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Conduct staff training & development sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and managing payroll processes
- Monitor cash handling procedures, perform cashiering duties as needed, and ensure accurate bookkeeping
- Coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional activities to boost store visibility and sales
- Maintain organizational efficiency by managing scheduling, time management, and administrative tasks
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and store policies at all times
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in retail or related customer service environments
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Experience with POS systems, merchandising, pricing strategies, and sales management
- Knowledge of payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative procedures
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation, marketing, training & development, and store management
- Skilled in cash handling, cashiering, customer service excellence, and phone etiquette
- Ability to manage multiple priorities through effective organizational skills and time management
- Prior experience in retail sales or retail management is highly desirable
