We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage therapy services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Responsibilities
- Conduct professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs
- Assess clients’ health history and discuss treatment goals before each session
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in compliance with health regulations
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments
- Document client progress and treatment details accurately in client records
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to all licensing and regulatory standards
- Foster positive relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication skills
Requirements
- Valid registration and licensure as a Massage Therapist (RMT)
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and client health assessments
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear understanding of treatment plans and client needs
- Prior experience in a therapeutic or clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary
- Ability to maintain professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality at all times
