Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Evening/Night Cleaner to join our team in Downtown Kelowna. This role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our commercial facilities during off-hours. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas
- Conduct routine facilities maintenance tasks such as replacing supplies, minor repairs, and ensuring cleanliness standards are met
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure high-quality results
- Follow established safety protocols and procedures during all cleaning activities
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled shift hours
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently during evening or night shifts
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable transportation is preferred due to shift hours and location accessibility
- Prior experience with facilities maintenance or general building upkeep is a plus
