Job Overview
We are seeking friendly and motivated individuals to join our team as A&W Cashier/Kitchen Staff. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Prepare food items according to company standards, maintaining proper food safety and sanitation practices
- Serve food efficiently while upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to sanitation guidelines
- Assist with food preparation tasks, ensuring timely delivery of orders during busy periods
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations and quality standards
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures is beneficial
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Experience in upselling or suggestive selling techniques is a plus

Pay: $18.25-$18.75 per hour
