Barista / All-Rounder — Permanent Part-Time
Lake Country Radio Café is growing, and we’re looking for the right person to join our team.
We’re not just looking for someone to take orders and make coffee. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, cares about the quality of every drink they serve, follows recipes and standards, and genuinely wants to be part of building a great team.
This is a permanent part-time position, ideally 5 days per week, with 2 fixed days off. Our café operates from mornings through evenings, so flexibility is important.
What We’re Looking For
- Pride in crafting great coffee and drinks — following recipes, measurements and café standards consistently.
- Friendly, confident and genuinely enjoys connecting with customers.
- Not afraid of a rush! You can stay calm, organized and productive when the café gets busy.
- Takes ownership and responsibility rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done.
- Works well as part of a team and is equally comfortable working independently.
- Able to multitask, prioritize and keep yourself busy during slower periods.
- Comfortable following our procedures, recipes and service standards.
- Cash handling and closing experience is an asset.
- Comfortable assisting with light food preparation and kitchen duties.
- FoodSafe certification is an asset, or you must be willing to obtain it.
- Able to work flexible days and schedules.
- Professional, dependable and committed to creating a positive customer experience.
