RJG Construction, specializing in Heavy Civil and Marine Construction, seeking Full-Time Project Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities Include
- Participating in Estimating / Quantity take-offs and preparation of technical components of tender documents
- Planning and organizing all aspects of projects in accordance with project specifications
- Working with supervisors and safety personnel to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide direction to supervisors and sub-contractors.
- Responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring project schedule.
- Work with Clients/Engineers
- Develop methodologies and procedures.
- Conduct Quality Control (QC) inspections
- Attend site and Client/Engineer/Contract Administrator progress meetings.
- Engage and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure common goals are achieved and corporate interests kept in mind
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering or diploma in Civil Engineering Technology an asset
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques
- Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals
- Well organized
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Ability to work independently and to work in a team environment.
- Communicate both verbally and written in English
- AutoCAD knowledge an asset
- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite
- Understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule
- Valid Class 5 driver license
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
