At Richard ten Haaf Insurance, we’ve been serving the London community since 1988, and we’re still growing.
We’re a locally owned insurance office with deep roots in this city. Our clients are our neighbours, our referrals come from real relationships, and our success has always come from doing things the right way: being honest, being present, and genuinely caring about the people we serve.
We’re now looking for an outgoing, relationship-driven Insurance Sales Representative to join our close-knit team.
Why People Choose to Work Here
People tend to stay with us because they feel valued. We’re a small team where contributions are noticed, growth is encouraged, and success is shared. You’re not a number here, you’re part of a group that supports each other, communicates openly, and takes pride in both individual and team wins.
We’re professional, but we’re also friendly, collaborative, and comfortable being ourselves at work.
Our Connection to the London Community
We’ve built this business by being part of London for decades, not just working in it. We understand the importance of community, local relationships, and showing up for the people around us. Many of our clients come to us through word-of-mouth, referrals, and long-standing connections, and we’re proud of the role we play in the city we call home.
What This Role Is Really About
Yes, this is a sales role, but it’s not about pressure tactics or one-size-fits-all policies.
You’ll be having real conversations, understanding people’s needs, and helping them protect what matters most, across:
- Personal & commercial auto and property
- Life and health insurance products
This is a full-time, in-office role in London, working alongside a supportive team that values communication, trust, and growth.
What You’ll Be Doing

- Conducting needs-based conversations to understand client risks and goals
- Generating new business through:
- Inbound leads
- Referrals
- Community and partner relationships
- Outbound calls to warm leads
- Preparing and presenting quotes clearly and confidently
- Closing sales and onboarding new clients
- Collaborating closely with our customer care team
- Maintaining accurate client and sales records
- Following compliance and regulatory requirements
- Contributing to team targets and the continued growth of our office
Who You’ll Fit In Well Here If You Are…
- Naturally outgoing, communicative, and comfortable talking to people
- Relationship-focused with a strong client-first mindset
- Self-motivated and organized, able to manage your own pipeline
- Ethical, trustworthy, and proud of the work you do
- Someone who values being part of a team, not just hitting numbers
Sales experience (insurance, financial services, or relationship-based sales) is preferred.
A provincial insurance license is required or willingness to obtain.
