General Help – Kitchen in Summerland
Location: Private School in Summerland, BC

About the Position
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Help – Kitchen team member to support the culinary operation at a private school in Summerland, BC.
The position will primarily support the kitchen team with day-to-day culinary and food service duties under the direction of the Chef Manager.
The operation serves approximately 45 guests for breakfast, 140 for lunch, and 45 for dinner.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the culinary team with general kitchen duties.
- Support food preparation and meal service as directed.
- Assist with batch cooking and buffet service.
- Help with kitchen setup, service, and cleanup.
- Maintain clean and organized food preparation and kitchen areas.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with Cooks and the Chef Manager.
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous kitchen, food service, or hospitality experience is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Food Safe certification is an asset.
