Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load, unload, and secure freight using equipment such as forklifts when necessary to handle heavy or bulky items.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS and mapping tools to ensure timely deliveries across multiple locations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic automotive repairs to maintain optimal performance and safety standards.
- Assist with freight handling, including loading and unloading cargo with heavy equipment operation skills.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports for compliance and record-keeping purposes.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or similar machinery preferred.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when needed.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow detailed routes and schedules.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and operate heavy equipment safely.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and customers professionally.

Pay: $17.50 per hour
