We are seeking a Labourer or Helper to join our talented team in Langley.
This position will suit a candidate with a mix of trades experience and a desire to be on the tools because of the work we do with commercial retail operations. Candidates with experience in commercial renovations, carpentry, journeyman electrical work, or a mix of trades experience will enjoy this position. Please note that this is not a residential or commercial building management role.
The Position
The successful applicant will work alongside our sign and lighting technicians on commercial building maintenance and renovation requirements for top commercial brands across BC. This is a hands-on, tools-based role — not residential or building management. Candidates with experience in commercial renovations, carpentry, electrical work, or a general mix of trades will thrive here. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a specialist trade and build toward a lead technician career.
What You Need
To succeed in this role, you should be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- At least 3 years experience in construction, general contracting, carpentry, or general building maintenance with a preference for those who have worked with commercial properties
- Some exposure to the electrical trade is considered an asset
- Self-starter mentality with a genuine interest in learning and growing within our business
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Well-developed work ethic and personal drive
- Ability to work well with others while demonstrating solid leadership skills
- A valid driver's licence in good standing
- Willingness to travel outside of Langley when required
