What can you expect from this position?
Reporting to the Associate Director, Commercial Performance and Governance, the Manager, Commercial Performance is responsible for driving performance visibility, governance discipline, and insight-led decision-making across the Commercial portfolio. You will lead the development and execution of standardized performance frameworks, KPIs, and governance rhythms, enabling clear accountability and continuous improvement. This role plays a critical part in delivering enterprise-wide performance outcomes by overseeing governance forums, business performance reviews, and partner performance management, while building strong cross-functional relationships and embedding a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.
As a Manager, Commercial Performance, you will:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Commercial governance programs, including planning and facilitating performance forums and decision-making cadences.
- Drive Business Performance Reviews (BPRs), translating complex data into clear, insight-driven recommendations for leadership.
- Develop and implement standardized performance frameworks, KPIs, and reporting to enable visibility and accountability.
- Establish and evolve partner performance management frameworks across Commercial portfolios.
- Monitor and analyze performance trends, identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Build strong relationships with Commercial stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor to support business priorities.
- Develop executive-ready materials and performance narratives to inform strategic decisions.
- Lead and coach a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Enable cross-functional alignment by embedding governance and performance practices into day-to-day operations.
- Drive ongoing improvements in performance management processes, tools, and reporting capabilities.
This is the role for you, if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, performance management, or a related function, with strong analytical capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience translating complex data into actionable insights and executive-level narratives.
- Experience working with large datasets, performance reporting, and KPI development.
- Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, stakeholder-driven environment with competing priorities.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in people leadership, including coaching and developing team members.
- Experience supporting governance forums, business reviews, or executive decision-making processes.
- A post-secondary degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in a commercial, aviation, transportation, or similarly complex environment (considered an asset).
- Demonstrated ability to drive accountability, structure, and continuous improvement across teams.
- A customer-centric mindset and ability to align performance outcomes to broader organizational goals.
- Ability to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position.
