River City Express is now hiring for a Class 1 driver position for City and rural/southern Manitoba delivery. Job is not exclusively Class 1 work, some days you may be driving a 5ton or tandem axle straight truck. Job will involve using curtain side trucks/trailers.
We will train suitable applicant on proper operation of curtain side truck/trailer and load securement.
Applicant must have good communication skills.
MUST HAVE knowledge of the city of Winnipeg and surrounding areas.
Flat deck/curtain side experience an asset.
Super B experience an asset, but not necessary.
Must have cellphone and steel toe footware.
Applicant must be ok with winter highway driving.
Job is full time M-F.
Start and finish time vary Day to day but expect 8 hours and overtime some days.
Wage depending on experience.
