We are building a strong core team and are looking for an experienced Renovation Carpenter who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and has the potential to lead projects independently as our company continues to grow.
Initial Contract
This position begins with a 2-month contract .
Successful candidates who demonstrate strong workmanship, reliability, leadership, and a good fit with our team will be considered for a permanent full-time position with long-term growth opportunities.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Perform hands-on residential renovation work
- Framing and general carpentry
- Drywall installation, mudding, and finishing
- Flooring, doors, trim, and other finishing work
- Assist with kitchen, bathroom, and basement renovations
- Read and follow construction drawings and measurements
- Work with other trades and subcontractors
- Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe
- Identify issues and communicate them to the project manager
- Complete work according to project specifications and quality standards
- Help junior workers when needed
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of residential renovation experience
- Strong hands-on renovation and carpentry skills
- Experience with framing, drywall, finishing, and general carpentry
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Good attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable transportation
- English communication skills
