Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight and goods across designated routes
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and securement
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to maintain safety standards and identify repairs needed
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues
- Assist with warehouse duties such as inventory management, freight sorting, and staging shipments
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance logs, and safety checks
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license suitable for heavy vehicles
- Familiarity with forklift operation and freight handling procedures
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
- Experience operating heavy equipment safely in a warehouse or industrial setting is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and safety protocols

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
