Position description:
Full-time Parts Specialist working regular hours, Monday to Friday, in Port Hope. Reporting to the General Manager, the Parts Specialist is a valuable member of a small team and is responsible for daily management of spare parts for Revolver’s fleet of trommel screening and radial stacking equipment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers, dealers and service departments to order/restock spare parts for equipment.
- Organize and track outgoing shipments to customers and dealers.
- Collaborate with sales, service and accounting departments on a daily basis.
- Organize inventory management and, when needed, assist with ordering services and supplies for general shop maintenance.
Skills, Qualifications & Requirements:
- Speak, read and write English.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing schedules and deadlines.
- Self-starter who takes initiative and is committed to working in a positive environment as part of a small team.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems, QuickBooks and standard shipping/receiving documentation, including customs paperwork.
- Be able to lift and package items for shipment.
- Valid G Driver’s license and clean drivers abstract.
- Certificate to operate a forklift is an asset.
Compensation
- $70-80,000 annual salary. Salary is negotiated based on skills and experience.
- Flexible schedule.
- Access to company vehicle for travel.
- Two weeks of vacation annually. Three weeks after 5 years of service.
