Overview
We are looking for a reliable and experienced tutor to join a growing tutoring service supporting students in Toronto.
Subjects and Students
- Math and/or Sciences
- Students aged 5 to high school (Grade 12)
- Support for elementary, middle school, and high school.
- Support students with homework, test preparation, and skill-building exercises
Format
- In-person tutoring (Midtown Toronto)
- Online Tutoring available
What we are looking for
- Strong academic background (postgraduate experience in Math or Sciences preferred)
- Experience working with children and/or teens
- Excellent in communication skills
- Highly organized and reliable
- Patient, supportive, and confident working with students of different learning levels.
- Comfortable teaching both foundational skills and advanced topics.
Responsibilities
- Provide engaging, individualized tutoring sessions
- Support students with homework, test prep, and concept understanding
- Adapt teaching style based on student needs
- Help build student confidence and academic progress
Job Type: Seasonal
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
