The Position

Localcoin is looking for a highly self directed person to join our talent team! We are searching for someone who can autonomously source, screen and engage with top talent in the financial technology industry. As the Recruitment Specialist, you should be an excellent communicator who thrives on creating outstanding candidate experiences. You should have a keen eye and a good judge of character.

To be successful in this role, you should be able to multi-task, prioritize and execute multiple hiring projects in a demanding, metric driven environment. We are looking for someone who is not afraid of implementing innovative recruitment methods. By creating strong talent pipelines you will be a key contributor to building Localcoin's overall growth strategy.


Work with the executive team to determine the various hiring needs for each department
Source candidates on LinkedIn and other business or social media networks
Screen resumes through Applicant Tracking System
Design job descriptions, phone interview questions and candidate scorecards
Attend recruitment, career fairs and other networking events
Perform phone interviews with candidates
Perform reference and background checks
Communicate information about Localcoin, our mission, our culture and employee benefits during the screening process
Post job descriptions on various different platforms
Assist in creating new talent acquisition channels
Help with our internship programs and campus recruitment initiatives
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Experiences

Bachelor's Degree in Business, HR or related field
3+ years of recruitment experience
Solid background and expertise in different sourcing techniques; cold calling, referrals, social media across different markets and disciplines
Excellent prospecting and networking skills, especially via online social networks
Knowledge of different application tracking systems
Knowledge and skill in candidate process management

Nice to have:
Gsuite (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Drive)
Knowledge of cryptocurrency space
