- Strictly adhere to Conuma's workplace policies and standard operating procedures, ensuring a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Attend and actively participate in all scheduled health, safety, and environmental meetings and training sessions.
- Create plans to ensure the sampling and testing of coal production meets quality standards.
- Identify ways to improve coal quality and work with teams to implement changes.
- Provide the necessary information for the mining and processing teams to maintain coal.
- Ensure materials and equipment from suppliers meet quality standards.
- Supervise the collection and testing of coal samples.
- Make sure operations follow all regulations and safety standards.
- Identify and reduce risks related to quality.
- Review quality data and create reports for management.
- Maintain accurate records of quality checks and actions taken.
- Preventive Maintenance programs on all equipment including Mechanical Sampling Systems.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all services performed on each piece of equipment, ensuring comprehensive documentation.
- Communicate and collaborate closely with members of other departments as required, fostering effective teamwork.
- Experience in a lab-based setting with ASTM sampling and analysis best practices.
- High school graduate.
- Relevant technical certifications or bachelor's degree is an asset.
- Experience in similar industry quality control positions is an asset.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Versatility to work both in an office and field environment as needed.
- Superior communication skills and the ability to follow directions effectively, whether through radio communication, spoken word, or hand signals.
- A proven record of safety consciousness and punctuality.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to various work conditions.
- Effective and respectful communication with colleagues, trainees, and leadership.

Conuma Resources takes pride in providing industry-competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package that truly values our employees. Specifically for the Technical Quality Coordinator role, we offer an annual base salary range of $80,000.00 - $90,000.00, along with a variety of bonuses. These bonuses include monthly efficiency bonuses linked to safety and production as well as quarterly retention bonuses. Our benefits package also includes paid vacation and personal days, 7% RRSP matching, and 100% employer-paid extended health and dental care, among other valuable perks.
