Key position functions include:
- Responsible for material handling of product from incoming receiving to work order picking
- Pull all material required for work orders and place into proper locations per schedule priority and/or instruction
- Unload, sort, inspect and put away incoming material as per receiving instructions
- Ensure processes, lifting devices and forklift operations are performed in accordance with safety regulations and are carried out in a conscientious manner
- Check to ensure material picked for work orders is correct before being released
- Record required information by pick list or RF gun, which may include lot numbers, serial numbers, heat numbers, quantities, etc.
- Ensure proper and timely flow of paperwork for pick lists, purchase orders, packing slips, etc.
- Advise Purchasing and Manufacturing of material shortages or delivery delays
- Perform uncrating duties for overseas shipments
- General warehouse duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining and organizing goods, keeping areas clean and orderly
- Maintaining outside casting and forging areas, keeping areas clean and orderly
- Keeping both product and storage areas clearly labelled
- Ensure compliance with Stream-Flo Group Guiding Principles in terms of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental regulations or policies
- Ensure compliance with all applicable standards/procedures, which may include:
- API – American Petroleum Institute
- ES – Engineering Specifications
- ISO – International Standards Organization
- JHA – Job Hazard Analysis
- QAM – Quality Assurance Manual
- QCP – Quality Control Procedures
- SWP – Safe Work Procedures
- WI – Work Instructions
- Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor
Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma, supplemented with related warehouse experience is an asset
- Knowledge of Stream-Flo and/or competitors equipment would be an asset
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Strong communication (oral and written) skills
- Detail oriented, strong work ethic and good interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, good organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment
- Forklift experience is an asset
