As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods while ensuring that all health and safety standards are met. Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of goods including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Decorate cakes and other baked items according to customer specifications or seasonal themes.
- Ensure all food handling and safety regulations are strictly followed during food preparation.
- Package baked goods for sale o, ensuring presentation meets quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production of baked items for service.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of baking ingredients and supplies.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Proficient in baking techniques with experience in cake decorating preferred.
- Ability to prepare various types of food while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Excellent food handling skills to ensure cleanliness and safety in the kitchen environment.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery setting is advantageous but not required.
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with customers when necessary.
