Our team’s goal is to make sure Sherweb is on the right path to long-term growth. You will contribute to this goal by coordinating the various activities related to payroll management. You will also participate in the continuous improvement of our payroll management practices and our administrative processes. To do this, you will work with the Controller, the rest of the Finance and Accounting team, as well as the Human Resources team.
Here's what your day-to-day will look like in this role.
Coordinate the payroll department’s activities;
Supervise the payroll agent and replace them if necessary;
Master the different payroll platforms;
Make changes related to payroll system programming;
Resolve pay issues before processing;
Participate in the declaration of the annual report for Bill 90;
Track payments related to group insurance and group RRSPs;
Produce RRSP payments each pay;
Produce DAS reports and validate the payroll information produced;
Participate in the payroll department’s daily tasks;
Produce government statements and other payroll documents;
Participate in the optimization of administrative payroll management processes;
Collaborate with HR for the management and implementation of benefits;
Establish the link between the payroll service and external services;
Perform certain treasury and accounting tasks as needed.

College or vocational degree in accounting, administration or related field;
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
Good knowledge of the Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.);
Good knowledge of legislation and good payroll management practices;
Good English and French skills, both oral and written;
You answer professionally and effectively to internal customers;
You are rigorous, meticulous and eager to provide high-quality work on time;
You are trustworthy and value respect and integrity;
You are organized, methodical and open to undertake new tasks or adopt new approaches if necessary;
You accept and adapt easily to change;
You have a good collaboration spirit and encourage teamwork;
You are eager to continuously improve your skills and knowledge
