Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced DZ Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and equipment, operating heavy machinery, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to support our logistics operations. Candidates with skills in forklift operation, automotive repair, and heavy equipment handling will be highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles including trucks and freight carriers to transport goods to various locations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning
- Assist with maintenance and minor repairs of vehicles and equipment when necessary
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and compliance with transportation regulations
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues
Experience
- Valid DZ driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or commercial trucks preferred
- Knowledge of freight handling and logistics operations
- Automotive repair skills or background are a plus
- Prior experience in heavy equipment operation or industrial transportation is advantageous
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy loads and operating machinery for extended periods
Pay: $17.20-$35.86 per hour
