White Glove DZ Driver: 26 Ft Box

Job Description:
There is no set schedule however average hours are 7:00-5:00. Dock to dock, inside calls involving stairs carries, unpackaging, repacking and following exactly as your BOL states as well as tailgate calls are daily. You must offload your own truck with the use of a pump truck. You will be with a truck helper on jobs that require more than one person.
Responsibilities & Essential Job Duties:
- Must be able to work Monday - Friday.
- Must be able to work overtime if required
- Must be able to do a pre-trip inspection and fill out a pre-trip book
- Must be able to follow MTO Laws and Restrictions
- Complete deliveries and pickups before the cut-off time
- Lifting up to 75lbs
- Obtaining proof of pickup and deliveries using mobile device and hard copy
- Completing a log sheet
- Average 5-15 calls a day
- Keeping dispatch up to date
- Loading/offloading trucks with a pump truck
- Use of tailgate
- Must be able to work with a helper
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years driving a 26 ft box truck experience
- Must have a proof of a minimum of 3 years of insurance coverage
- Must have previous white-glove experience
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have courier driving experience
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Must have a clean abstract
- Must be able to unload/offload their trucks with a pump truck
- Must be able to use a tailgate
- Must be able to read and write English
- Knowledge of the Greater Toronto Area is a must
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs
