Key Qualifications:
Current C.M.R.I.T.O.registration, in good standing
Minimum of 2 years experience in all aspects of CT area
Experience in Cardiac CT and asset
Proven ability to initiate IVs
Proven ability to perform contrast CT scans
Experience with Siemens and Toshiba CT scanners an asset
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required. Recertification is to be completed annually
Demonstrated leadership ability in a team environment with excellent communication skills
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Ongoing personal development
Position Summary:
Performs routine and specialized CT procedures
Ability to work with all areas to ensure quality patient focused care
Assist in the ongoing quality assurance program
Facilitates work area assignments
Works in conjunction with other team members and Resource Technologist cooperatively to prioritize, coordinate and integrate workloads
Coordinate troubleshooting and repair of equipment
Ensure proper stocking of rooms
Function with other diagnostic imaging team members to monitor and optimize use of resources
Support a customer-focused environment
Works all shifts including call
Other duties as required
