The Job: We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Service & Parts Advisor to join our Exeter Ford Team, a leading Ford dealership in Ontario.
This dual-role position supports both the service and parts departments, ensuring a seamless experience for customers and efficient internal operations. Automotive Service & Parts Adviser's responsibility is to listen and thoroughly understand customer problems, to arrange for an appropriate service &/or level, and to set/manage expectations on the part of the customer and the technician.
The candidate must have previous service &
- Greet and assist customers with service appointments and parts inquiries
- Coordinate vehicle service intake, repair updates, and delivery
- Identify and source required parts for service jobs and retail customers
- Prepare accurate estimates and invoices for service and parts transactions
- Maintain inventory records and ensure timely restocking
- Collaborate with technicians and service managers to ensure workflow efficiency
- Uphold all manufacturers and dealership compliance standards
- Maintain all Health and Safety regulations
The Qualifications required:
- Previous Ford experience in automotive service or parts advising preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with dealership management systems (PBS) and Ford platforms
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Ontario driver’s license with clean driver abstract
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proven track record in highest CSI scores
- A positive attitude with the ability to work both in a team setting & independently
- Proof of Covid-19 vaccination.
