Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to support our company's logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport freight and goods to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or heavy equipment when necessary
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to maintain safety standards
- Maintain proper documentation of deliveries, including receipts and delivery logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status or issues
- Assist with warehouse duties, including freight handling and inventory management when required
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper operation of heavy equipment and adherence to traffic laws
Skills
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred or required depending on vehicle type
- Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or other industrial machinery is a plus
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and logistics operations
- Basic automotive repair skills are advantageous for vehicle maintenance needs
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
