Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, ensuring all requests are clearly communicated to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while providing friendly guest service.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, ensuring food handling procedures comply with health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, managing time effectively during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and basic math for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Experience in serving, food preparation, or the food industry demonstrates your ability to deliver excellent guest services.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills to engage guests warmly and work seamlessly with team members.
