Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our dock building team. The ideal candidate will possess strong welding expertise along with a solid understanding of systems.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects. utilizing a variety of welding techniques and tools. Candidates must be committed to safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform ARC welding on carbon steel ensuring precision and adherence to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints for docks and structural steel
- Operate power tools, hand tools, torches and grinders.
- Use basic math skills to measure and verify dimensions for quality control
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols
- Conduct inspections of welds and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Collaborate with team members on assembly, construction, or manufacturing projects involving ductwork or structural steel
Skills
- Proficiency in ARC welding techniques with demonstrated experience in manufacturing or construction environment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high safety standardsThis position is integral to our manufacturing operations and requires a dedicated professional committed to craftsmanship and safety.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
