The communication officer and writer develops communication strategies, making use of both traditional and digital communication tools, which aim at two objectives: to recruit the best students in the national markets and in all curricula of the University of Ottawa at all study cycles and, support the retention and experience of students in the current University community. Conceptualizes and ensures the implementation of communication plans, including the drafting and revision of the content, in order to project a positive image of the University and promote the brand.
Knowledge of the principles of marketing and communication, normally acquired by means of a university degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of studies and work experience.
At least three years of demonstrated experience in a similar role.

Temporary assignment or contract of 24 months, with possibility of renewal. Eligibility to benefits and union affiliation will be determined upon hiring.
