- CNC machining experience (is an asset)

- Willingness to learn - We're offering to train applicants in the operation of CNC horizontal lathes and other production machinery through our mentor training program

- $23.37 per hour during the initial training period, which is done during our day shift on Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Shift Premium: Once fully trained and able to move to afternoon shifts, there is a $0.75 per hour increase

- Rate of Pay:
- • Orientation term: (520 hours @ $23.37 per hour)
- • At the end of your orientation term, you will receive a performance score.
- • Should you earn a “satisfactory or better” score, your rate of pay will increase to $24.60 per hour (plus a shift premium of $0.75).
- Mid-term: (next 520 hours @ $24.60 per hour)
- • At the end of your mid-term, you will receive another performance score.
- • Should you earn a “satisfactory or better” score, your rate of pay will increase to $25.85 per hour (plus a shift premium of $0.75).
- Annual reviews: (beyond 1040 hours @ $25.85 per hour, plus an afternoon shift premium of $0.75)
- • In December of each year, your performance and skill levels will be evaluated with you and rates of pay will be increased.
- Benefits:
- • Insurance and medical benefits begin the first of the month following completion of orientation term.
- Pension (group RRSP) begin on March 1st following 2000 hours of employment plus an annual pension plan contribution and profit share bonus.
- Annually, you will receive 10 paid Statutory Holidays plus two paid sick/family emergency days.
- Each year, vacation pay earned is paid prior to your vacation days off or as a lump sum every six months in June and December. The choice is yours.
- Reimbursement for the cost of Safety Boots (one pair) and prescription safety glasses (one pair – if required) is reimbursed up to $200.00 every two years. All other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is supplied.
- Team branded uniforms are supplied upon completion of your orientation term.
